From: November Patriots
I would encourage all of your group to attend the Thur March 26 Sen. Pilcher-Cook presentation and town hall meeting.
The over arching theme is governmental over reaching(abuse). Why should your group attend and how does it relate to SRS abuse?
1. It relates to governmental over reaching which is exactly what you have going on ( in the most horrible way),
2. My experience in this area has taught me there is one common denominator in 95% of the governmental over reaching, the politicians no longer listen or act on we the people's concerns! They work on their own pet projects or those of special interest groups and or they feel they know what is best for us. The handling of SCR1615 is one of the most blatant examples of this problem. Yet few know about it and even fewer are reacting to it.
3. As long as we citizens only pay attention to our "own" concerns rather then the underlying problem the wayward politicians and the puppeteers that control them will win.
This is why my group does not take on issue specific problems per se i.e. taxes, gun control etc. We take on situation that exhibit a Representative Disconnect i.e. our politicians not listening to us. Often times even if the politician will "listen" to you they will not act on your concerns.
Your best weapon is to educate yourselves on this issue and how to recognize it. Then to work with other groups who may have a different problem or issue but which has the same root cause. There is power in the people but only when they stand and act as one rather than many( even if it is on the same issue. )
If I know in advance I am willing to meet with some of your group after this event at Perkins or somewhere to have a general discussion. I will need to oversee the shut down of this event and to thank and say goodbye to some of the guests and staff so it will not be immediately after the event which stops at 8;45. It will more likely be around 9;30- 9:45.
Let me know.

CCAG, The November Patriots and Hope for America Coalition are sponsoring a public presentation by Senator Mary Pilcher – Cook on Senate resolution (S1609), which she introduced this session. The Resolution re-asserts the State’s and the citizen’s supremacy over and sovereignty from the federal government. Senator Pilcher–Cook will discuss the circumstances leading up to her introduction of the resolution, its status in the legislature, its impact if passed and the possible follow up to its passage.
A town hall discussion will follow the presentation, with other legislators as the panelist. The general theme will be governmental over reaching. It is expected that the topics discussed will include the current proposed state wide smoking ban and the use of eminent domain to take property away from citizens to give it to commercial interests.
