THE SECOND PIXEL PROJECT WEEKEND WEBINAR

UNIFEM'S 'SAY NO - UNITE' CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR SPEAKS ABOUT GLOBAL ACTIONS TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
The Pixel Project (

http://www.thepixelproject.net) is pleased to announce that the second Pixel Project Weekend Webinar will be presented by the United Nations Development Fund For Women (UNIFEM)'s "Say NO - UNiTE" campaign coordinator, Urjasi Rudra. This webinar will take place at 6pm EST on Saturday 27 March 2010.

Ms Rudra will discuss 'Say NO's campaign to raise 1 million grassroots actions to end Violence Against Women (VAW) by November 2010 and their programme for International Women's Day. She will also be taking questions about 'Say NO' initiatives happening worldwide as well as how to get started with stopping VAW in YOUR community.

Each webinar participant will be counted as 1 "action" towards "Say NO"s campaign. Participants are encouraged to register via The Pixel Project's website's Community Buzz section or The Pixel Project's Webinar 'Action' page at http://www.saynotoviolence.org to help the organisers count you in.

This free, interactive event is hosted by UStream (http://www.UStream.tv) and will be streamed via The Pixel Project's virtual Webinar room (http://www.thepixelproject.net/community-buzz/weekend-webinar-series/).

The Pixel Project is a global volunteer-led Internet-based nonprofit whose mission is to take fund-and-awareness raising for the VAW cause into the 21st Century by delivering innovative, powerful viral campaigns across online channels including social media.
